I am happy to announce that I will be showing my encaustic work at Patricia Rovzar Gallery in Seattle. The gallery will include my work at their booth at the Affordable Art Fair November 6-10 and in its December Annual Group Show introducing me as a new artist in the gallery.
Here are a few new pieces I have been working on for this exciting opportunity!
I will have some new acrylics displayed in Prima Bistro in Langley beginning this Thursday, 9/26. They are scenes from some of my favorite cafés, like this one of Café Presse in Seattle.
It was nice to take a break from encaustics for a few days, but it is back to it now, getting ready for my December show at Butter's Gallery in Portland and Patricia Rovzar Gallery will be introducing my landscapes at her December group show as well.
It is sometimes a tricky situation, especially in a resort town like Langley. Art collectors are excited to take their new acquisitions home, but red dots all over the gallery are helpful to spur on more sales. What to do?
I brought in some replacement pieces this week and hope they will soon be red-dotted as well.
